Place2stay Terms & Conditions of Platform Use

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, registering for, or using any part of the place2stay platform — whether via web browser, mobile app, or any other device — you agree to be bound by all terms and conditions set out in this document. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue use of the platform immediately.
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you as the user and place2stay as the platform provider. Continued use of the platform following any amendments to these terms will be deemed as acceptance of those amendments. It is your responsibility to review this page from time to time.
The place2stay platform is strictly for individuals aged 18 and above who are located in regions where such activities are permitted. Use by minors is strictly prohibited.
2. Account Creation and Security
To access the full range of place2stay services, you are required to register an account using accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. Each user is permitted to hold only one active account. Creating multiple accounts under the same individual is strictly prohibited and may result in all associated accounts being suspended without prior notice.
You are solely responsible for the security of your password and login credentials. place2stay will not be liable for any losses arising from unauthorised access to your account due to negligence in safeguarding your login information. If you suspect your account has been accessed without authorisation, please contact our support team immediately at [email protected].
Place2stay reserves the right to request identity verification at any time, including during registration or prior to processing a withdrawal. Failure to provide the required documents may result in a temporary account suspension until verification is complete.
3. User Responsibilities and Platform Usage Rules
As a place2stay user, you agree to use this platform solely for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You are not permitted to:
- Using automated software, bots, scripts, or any other technical means to access or interact with the platform without written authorisation from place2stay.
- Attempting to bypass, disable, or interfere with any security features of the platform, including authentication systems and encryption.
- Sharing your account with others or transferring account ownership to any other individual or entity in any form.
- Using false account information, another person's identity, or falsified documents during registration or verification.
- Engaging in money laundering, fraud, or any other illegal financial activity through the place2stay platform.
- Distributing content that is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, or harassing toward other users or place2stay staff.
Any violation of the above rules may result in account suspension or closure without notice and without any refund of account balances associated with the misuse.
4. Payment and Transaction Information
All transactions on the place2stay platform are conducted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM / MYR). You are responsible for ensuring that deposited funds are from a legitimate source and belong to you. place2stay does not accept payments from third parties on behalf of registered users.
Deposit
Deposits can be made via payment methods supported by the platform at the time, including but not limited to Touch 'n Go eWallet, FPX, Maybank2u, and CIMB Clicks. Processing times vary depending on the payment method and any third parties involved. place2stay is not responsible for delays caused by external payment processors.
Withdrawal
Withdrawals are processed to the bank account or e-wallet registered under the user's name only. place2stay reserves the right to request identity verification before processing any withdrawal. Processing typically takes one to three business days, depending on the chosen method and internal verification requirements.
Transaction Disputes
If you encounter any unrecognised transactions or discrepancies in your account records, you must contact the place2stay support team within 30 days of the transaction date. Disputes raised after this period may not be able to be processed.
5. Liability Limits and Account Policy
Place2stay Liability Limits
Place2stay provides the platform on an "as is" basis and makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or continuous availability of its services. To the extent permitted by law, place2stay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use of or inability to use the platform, including losses resulting from technical disruptions, system errors, or internet connectivity issues.
Account Suspension and Closure
Place2stay reserves the right to suspend or close any user account at any time, with or without prior notice, if there is a suspected breach of terms, fraudulent activity, or for security and compliance reasons. In cases where suspension or closure is not due to user fault, any valid account balance will be returned upon completion of the review process.
Intellectual Property
All content, designs, logos, trademarks, domain names, and software on the place2stay platform are the exclusive property of place2stay or its respective licensors. You may not copy, redistribute, modify, or use any such content for commercial purposes without express written consent from place2stay.
Third-Party Links
The place2stay platform may contain references to or information about third-party service providers such as payment processors. place2stay is not responsible for the privacy policies, content, or practices of any such third-party entities.
6. Changes to Terms and Governing Law
Place2stay reserves the right to modify, amend, or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Amendments take effect immediately upon being posted on this page. The "updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the date of the latest revision. You are encouraged to review this page periodically.
These terms and conditions and any disputes arising from them are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through negotiation will be referred to a court of competent jurisdiction in Malaysia.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision will be deemed amended to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, while all other provisions will remain in full force and effect.
